In addition to the PerfectFlow brand, CHI TECH's technology has been applied to the Oil Bank® and Grease Bank® products. These products are also used to transfer lubricants, specifically lubricating oil and grease.

Users of the Oil Bank® and Grease Bank® technologies include major oil refiners, major automotive suppliers, and large agricultural producers. Oil refiners apply the technology to service engines throughout their refineries. Agricultural companies use the technology to move gear, motor, and hydraulic oils, transmission fluids, and various greases throughout their growing fields. CHI TECH's technology allows them the versatility to service their farm equipment in the field without any ground contamination from hydrocarbon use.
oil bank
In the mid-1990s, the Oil Bank technology was licensed to Shell Oil Company for use in industrial and commercial markets and applied to 00 grade - 4.5 grade greases as well as light and heavy weight lubricating oils. According to Shell Oil Company, "The Oil Bank system represents state-of-the-art petroleum products handling. Oil Bank is an entirely new technology. The technology is designed to provide a unique competitive advantage, while providing answers to environmental compliance concerns today and in the future. Seldom does a new idea come into existence that is destined to change the way our industry handles a product or a given procedure. The Oil Bank is that kind of idea; it is right for the changing times and business environment in which we operate."

Oil Bank systems have three basic configurations - Portable, Bulk, and Portable-Bulk. The Oil Bank works by dispensing NEW oil using nitrogen pressure and by collecting USED oil with a vacuum. NEW oil systems are filled with lubricant and placed under nitrogen pressure. The pressure replaces the need for a pump and moves the oil from the Oil Bank system to the end use. To collect USED oil, a vacuum is generated on an Oil Bank used-oil system thus allowing USED oil to be evacuated directly from an engine or a drain receptacle without the need for a diaphragm pump. The vacuum is placed on the Oil Bank used-oil system using the Oil Bank vacuum generator, which has no moving parts and uses compressed air to create a vacuum. All Oil Bank systems operate on the same principle.

Oil Bank systems' wide range of sizes and highly portable design make the system well suited for a variety of applications, both centralized servicing and remote, on-site maintenance.

Oil Bank is an efficient, cost-effective method for servicing off-road heavy equipment, agricultural equipment, mining equipment, trucks, and industrial and manufacturing facilities.

Oil Bank makes possible a transition or expansion into mobile servicing in a way that saves more than 80% and provides high-quality appearance and service.

Some of the key benefits from Oil Bank include:
  • High-speed
  • Portable
  • Contamination free
  • Self-powered
  • 100% recyclable systems
  • Customers only pay for the oil that they use
  • Cleaner and safer working conditions
  • Eliminate baggies and liners
  • Eliminate drum and key disposal problems
  • Makes mobile servicing highly economical
  • Able to distribute and collect segregated streams of products

grease bank
Grease Bank is a major breakthrough in handling thick fluids and pastes. Grease Bank systems have three basic configurations - Portable, Bulk, and Portable-Bulk. Portable systems hold about 165 pounds of grease. Bulk systems hold about 3,000 pounds of grease. The Grease Bank system works by dispensing grease using nitrogen pressure.

A major automotive parts supplier manufactures parts that must have grease applied to them. This parts supplier was suffering about 40% downtime on their production lines due to contaminated grease. After incorporating Grease Bank to their production line, the unit volume purchases of grease were reduced by nearly 30%.

A major equipment servicing company operates facilities that are under a roof but open walled. Accordingly, they would frequently have to dispose of full drums of grease when the wind blew in their area of operation. This occurred because when they opened a new drum of grease, there would be a coating of dust on the top of the grease before they could insert the pump and follower plate into the drum. After implementing Grease Bank, they have never disposed of any grease due to wind-dust contamination.

A major railroad filled their hi-rail trucks with curve grease in about 45 minutes using traditional technology. However, with Grease Bank, they can now fill their hi-rail trucks in 45 seconds. This considerable advantage has drastically enhanced their profitability.

Some of the key benefits from Grease Bank include:
  • High-speed
  • Portable
  • Contamination free
  • Self-powered
  • Eliminate messy grease pumps
  • Reduces grease system change-out time by up to 95%
  • Customers only pay for the grease that they use
  • Cleaner and safer working conditions
  • Eliminate baggies and liners
  • Eliminate dented drums and kegs
  • Eliminate drum and key disposal problems
  • 100% recyclable systems
  • Makes mobile servicing highly economical
  • Transfer 12,000,000 cp grease at 5 GPM through a 1" line using 15 psig
