  18. What are the limitations on container size for the PerfectFlow system?
Our company typically spends about $90,000 per year cleaning thick fluid containers so that they can be properly disposed. What can I expect to spend on container cleaning costs by using PerfectFlow™?

For many thick fluid applications, PerfectFlow systems are not cleaned after each use because the system is sealed and protects product quality and prevents contamination. As a result, a PerfectFlow system is cleaned typically only when it is prepared for new duty with another fluid. Therefore, you can expect to save about $90,000 per year from using PerfectFlow systems.

Can I fill a grease gun using a PerfectFlow™ system?

Yes. Not only can you fill it, you can fill it in seconds without even getting your hands dirty! back to top

If the PerfectFlow™ system is sealed, how can I tell how much product is left in it?

There are several options available for a level gauge. For those applications where a pneumatic system is appropriate and the system is not kept at a constant pressure, a reliable level gauge is our pressure gauge that is installed on top of the container. For those applications where the system is kept under constant pressure, a reliable level gauge is a scale that is calibrated to display the amount remaining in the system.

Can I tell how much is in a PerfectFlow™ system from a remote location?

Yes. Using CHI TECH's smart system technology, you can remotely assess the amount of product left in a PerfectFlow system.

We spend about $210,000 per year on semi-solid product that we dispose of (residual product), and that's ignoring disposal costs. Can we save money on our residual product costs using the PerfectFlow system?

Yes. With a PerfectFlow system your residual semi-solid cost is typically zero, so you could save about $210,000 per year. Your costs are zero because you only pay for the product that you use because the PerfectFlow systems are weighed in upon their return to your fluid supplier. If the weight of the container is greater than the tare weight of the container, you receive a credit on your next fluid invoice.

Follower plate hang-up problems cost our firm about $204,000. The PerfectFlow system uses an internal piston, not a follower plate. Will this solve our hang-up problem and save us money?

A unique, proprietary feature of the PerfectFlow system is an internal piston that does not go wall-to-wall like the follower plate in a traditional system. Many believe that this is the reason why there have been no hang-up problems with PerfectFlow systems. Therefore, you should expect to save virtually all of the $204,000 you are currently spending.

We continue to have dented semi-solid container problems although we have tried everything. Even though we are able to share a lot of the cost of dented containers with our supplier, our plant still spends $36,600 per year on dented container problems. Can the PerfectFlow system save money on dented containers?

The PerfectFlow systems are more robust than traditional systems, and there have been no dented container problems. Your dented container problem should be solved, and you could save about $36,600 per years.
